Alex Harlander, a Benicia native with a deep love for his hometown, is no stranger to hard work and creativity. After graduating from Benicia High School, Alex honed his craft in the local scene, from flipping pizzas at Pizza Pirate to serving up delicious dishes at First St. Cafe. But his true passion was always bubbling just below the surface. 

For over seven years, Alex worked as a soapmaker for a local skincare company, crafting artisanal soaps that left customers glowing. But when the company decided to pack up and move out of state, Alex saw an opportunity to create something of his own. And thus, Human Soap was born. With a focus on quality and creativity, Alex launched his own line of handcrafted soaps, starting with six unique varieties - and he's not stopping there. With more to come, its clear that Human soap is more than just a brand; its a personal expression of Alex's passion and dedication to making people feel their best, inside and out.
